Now that you’ve got some traffic, here comes the important part:

Having such a lead magnet is super important because if you just offer your product, it’s like this: “Take it or leave it.”

Step three is all about the “AHA Moment.” The AHA Moment is the moment when people say:

It's the moment when your leads understand the value of your product. So how do you do it, how do you get people to this moment quickly?

First, let me show you how not to do it, because that’s what most startups do.

Let’s say you sign up for an automation tool and you see this interface.

But - again - keep it simple. Don’t write a 50-step email automation. Here’s what some of the startups I have coached do:

They use just a short email sequence.

So in the first week after someone signs up for your free demo, you send them 5 emails that show them your main features and what they can achieve with it.

That’s important - you don’t just tell them the features, you also show how it helps them. This is especially helpful for people who didn’t find the AHA Moment immediately.

I would recommend using this 5-step email sequence for all people who registered for your demo, and then add an additional email sequence for people who stopped using your product.

And you simply ask:

"Are you still interested in ...” - and here you would fill in your main benefit.

For example, if you have an app that helps people get in shape and lose weight, you could say, “Are you still interested in getting in shape?”

The first few emails come quickly - one per week, maybe.
And then you space it out. Every month, every quarter - but the point is: don’t ghost your users.

→ Remind them of the value
→ Show them what to do next
