Most founders are trapped in their startup.
They're constantly putting out fires.
→ Slack messages
→ Emails
→ Random tasks
They never have time to work on the things that actually grow their startup.
That used to be me too.
But I found one system that forces you to focus on the things that actually grow your startup.
In the next 10 minutes, I’ll show you the exact 4-step system that makes sure you always work on the things that move your startup forward.
Instead of checking off tasks all day and going nowhere.
And if you set this up today, you’ll never wonder what to focus on next.
Here’s how it works.

Instead of checking off tasks all day and going nowhere.

Here’s how it works.
Step 1: Define Your 90-Day Growth Goal
This is the only goal that matters right now.
It’s one measurable goal you want to hit in the next 90 days.
❌ Not five goals
❌ Not three goals
✅ Just one
But why is it so powerful?
Because now every decision becomes simple.
You ask yourself one question: "Does this help me reach my 90-day goal?"
If the answer is no, you ignore it.
So how do you define this one growth goal?
Think about what success would look like to you.
And then be super specific.
For example: If you have 5 customers today, your goal could be:
Reach 20 paying customers.
Don't pick something vague like "Get more users".
It must be a number you can track.
Then, write that goal on a piece of paper.
In a second, I’ll show you the one thing that separates founders who actually grow their startup from those who are just busy all day.
But first - here’s the critical mistake most founders make at this stage:
They set too many goals and make them way too broad.
Like - more users, more revenue, more growth.
That’s useless.
Instead, go for one, and make it hyper-specific.
Once you have your growth goal and you know how to measure it - we come to the step that decides if you make real progress or just stay busy.

Step 2: Identify Your Growth Levers
Your growth levers are the 1–3 things that will have the biggest impact on your 90-day goal. So, you need to know what these are.
Most founders just do random things that feel productive but change nothing. You’ve probably done this today as well.
→ Scrolling Twitter for growth hacks
→ Tweaking a button color
→ Rewriting your website
→ Sending endless emails
These things keep you busy, but your startup doesn’t grow.
Your growth levers must directly move your goal.
For example, if your growth goal is "20 paying customers", your levers could be things like:
• Reach out to 30 people in your network
• Post 3 times on social media
• Improve your website to get more people to buy
Write these right beneath your growth goal.
That’s what you need to focus on.
Everything else is a distraction.
Now, speaking of getting paying customers - if you want a step-by-step blueprint to actually land your first ones, I put together a quick worksheet that shows you exactly what you need to do to get your first 10 customers and what to focus on over the next 30 days.
Ok, now you know what your growth levers are - but knowing them isn’t enough. Most founders know what they need to do. They just never make the time to do it.
Let me show you a trick to fix that.
Step 3: Schedule Your Growth Blocks
Step 3 is all about protecting time in your calendar so you can actually focus on growth. You use this time exclusively for working on your growth levers.
The reason this is so important is because without it, your growth levers just become another item on your to-do list.
So, here’s how to set it up:
1. Open your calendar right now
2. Block out 2-4 hour chunks, 5 times a week
3. Treat these blocks like appointments with yourself
During this time, you only work on your growth levers.
Nothing else. If it’s not a growth lever, it doesn’t go into this block.
And to make this super effective, turn off all notifications.
Phone, email, Slack - everything. Close the tabs you don’t need.
If you have these growth blocks in your calendar, you can make progress real fast. But there’s one last step you can’t skip - because if you do, everything else will fall apart.
Step 4: Do A Weekly Review
Once a week, block 60 minutes to review your numbers.
Like, what worked? What didn’t? Are you closer to your 90-day goal?
The goal is simple: double down on what works and cut what doesn’t.
For example, if talking to people in person brings more customers, do more interviews - if email campaigns are driving sign-ups, double down on that.
What's next
Here is the beauty of this system:
You stop reacting to every ping and start doing the things that actually grow your startup.
So, here’s what I want you to do right now:
→ Write down your 90-day goal
→ Define your 3 growth levers
→ Block 5 growth sessions in your calendar
That’s it.
Do this today and your startup will look completely different in 90 days.
But the hard part usually isn’t understanding this stuff - it’s knowing how to apply it week by week without second-guessing yourself.
When I was building my own startups, I kept wishing for a simple roadmap that told me exactly what to focus on next at each stage of my startup.
That’s why I put everything I use into my Startup Success Bundle.
